Lovell: Day One

I have to be honest. It is a bit hard staying in the house we called home for 4 years. (My in laws moved into the house when we moved out.) Its not so much the house itself. I definitely miss the house, but with all of my in-laws furniture, it makes it look different enough where I can pretend its a totally different house (which is still hard). But the outside is a different story. I miss having a yard....this huge yard. And being here again, makes it that much harder. The kids love the yard. They love being outside. I took a walk when I woke up this morning around all the yard. Seeing all the trees + bushes my husband + I planted was the hardest part. But its all good. We will have a yard again someday - hopefully soon.

As for the kids - they love being here around family + playing with their cousins. Today we spent a lot of time outside in the water. Then an afternoon thunderstorm came + made us head inside. Here is our day. Enjoy.

This is as close as Danoson got to the water. Which is a bit weird. I'm thinking the water was just too cold. He is usually in any water that is close to him.
