Camping.

We took a short camping trip (just an over-nighter) up in the Big Horn Mtns Monday + Tuesday. We bought Tayliah + Danoson their own kiddie fishing poles before we left - which was a good idea. We spent most of Monday fishing.

Tayliah got the hang of casting down really fast + is actually really good at it. She can't wait to show her Pa-Paw her new skill.

We made it to the campsite around 5 or 6 pm. We ate dinner, had dessert, + hung around the campfire.

Side note: The Johnson way to make a smore doesn't involve graham crackers, marshmallow + a chocolate bar. We buy chips ahoy cookies + put a marshmallow between 2 cookies. Yummy.

Not 5 minutes after crawling into our tents to go to bed, it started to rain. And it didn't stop. There was a huge storm all night long. There was so much lightening + thunder. But it was so cool. I loved hearing the thunder - so loud + so long. It was awesome! Thank goodness for nice, dry tents.

Tuesday we broke camp around 9 am + spent the rest of the day fishing.

She loved releasing the fish back into the water.

It was such a fun camping trip - besides no sleep Monday night. I can't wait till we get to go back again   :)
