November 21, 2012. Day Twenty-One.
Today I am so very, very grateful for my husband's job. He works in retail + so he will be gone Thanksgiving morning + then has to go back to work Thanksgiving evening. So in other words, we won't be able to spend a lot of time with him on Thanksgiving. But at least he has a job that pays our bills + lets me stay at home with our children.
There are so many people who are complaining + going on strike because they have to work on Thanksgiving. And to be honest, it really does suck that he can't be with us for the entire day. But there are so many people who don't have a job or who can't get a job. So I am thankful that he does have a job, even if that does mean he has to be away from us when we don't want him too.
